"Russia says to start Iran nuclear plant in 2010" (Reuters)

MOSCOW, Jan 21 - Russia will start up the reactor at Iran's Bushehr nuclear power plant this year, the chief of Russia's state nuclear corporation told reporters on Thursday.

"2010 is the year of Bushehr," Rosatom chief Sergei Kiriyenko told reporters after a cabinet meeting in Moscow.

"There is absolutely no doubt that it will be built this year. Everything is going according to schedule," he said.

Ahmadinajad of Iran has repeatedly called for the mass extermination of Israel. We know it's highly likely that Israel will bomb Iran if they go nuclear. On a side note, there has been some tension between the U.S. and China over climate change, and internet policies of all things. It seems we could be looking at a large face off between the United States, the European Union, and Israel vs. Russia, China, and Iran at some point in time. Who knows which side Japan and India would take if they were dragged into it. That's just my thought on this. It very well could be another World War.
